Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone who wants to read a supplement panel, so we build it to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, or no mouse at all.

What we aim for

We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as our target. We have not been audited against it by a third party, so we describe it as what we are working towards rather than a certification we hold.

In practice that means:

• Every image that carries information has a text alternative. Decorative images are marked as decorative so a screen reader skips them.
• Supplement facts are real tables with real headers, not pictures of tables, so the doses can be read out loud.
• You can reach every link, button and form field with the keyboard alone, and see where you are while you do it.
• Text can be zoomed to 200% without the layout trapping it or cutting it off.
• Body text and interface text meet the AA contrast ratio against their background.
• Nothing moves, flashes or auto-plays in a way you cannot stop. The announcement bar has a pause control.

Where we know we fall short

Some parts of the site are served by third parties — the checkout, payment buttons, and embedded content. We do not control their markup, and we cannot promise they meet the same bar. Where we find a gap in our own pages we log it and fix it rather than waiting for a redesign.
