We are serious about dosing. Ask away.

How much EPA and DHA is in a softgel?

180 mg of EPA and 120 mg of DHA, from 1,000 mg of fish oil concentrate. The other 700 mg is oil that is not EPA or DHA.

Is this enough to do what omega-3 studies show?

Probably not. The trials that report health outcomes generally use several times this amount, and the largest review to date found little or no cardiovascular effect at any dose. We print what is in it and leave the judgement to you.

Is it vegan?

No. The softgel is gelatin and the oil is from fish. It is the only product in the range that is not vegan.

Does it contain allergens?

Yes — fish (sardines and anchovies). That is printed on the label and on this page.
