Editorial policy

This page explains how we write about supplements, and what we will not do to make a sale.

Claims

We publish structure/function claims only. We do not claim any product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents disease. Every claim is kept on file with the human clinical evidence behind it, including the dose and form used in the trial and the population studied.

How we handle weak evidence

Where the research is mixed, small, or conducted only in people who already had a condition, we say so. Where a popular claim in our category does not survive scrutiny, we do not make it, even when competitors do. Two examples: we do not claim our magnesium improves sleep, and we do not describe our liver formula as a detox.

Reviews

Reviews are from verified buyers and appear as written. We do not import reviews from other sites, we do not write our own, and we do not publish a rating or a review count until real reviews support it.

Citations

Articles cite primary sources — clinical trials, systematic reviews and regulatory documents — with enough detail that you can find them yourself. We link the study, not a summary of a summary.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we change it and say what changed. Email us if you spot an error.
