The root of Withania somnifera, a shrub in the nightshade family used in Ayurvedic tradition. Our Ashwagandha is whole organic root powder, 650 mg per capsule — not a standardized extract, so no withanolide percentage is printed. Many trials use branded extracts (KSM-66, Sensoril, Shoden) at 240–600 mg a day, and their results don't carry over to root powder milligram for milligram.
